On this special day, each classroom will be assigned an English-speaking country, and students will work in teams to transform their space into a vibrant cultural showcase by decorating with iconic landmarks, national flags, and visual elements that represent the country; preparing and presenting traditional dishes commonly enjoyed by its people; teaching their classmates about the country’s customs, daily activities, historical origins, and key events; and finally, engaging the audience by asking questions to reinforce what they’ve learned and spark curiosity—creating an immersive experience that celebrates diversity, teamwork, and global awareness.
During this special day, students will enhance their professional and entrepreneurial skills by simulating their own business ventures. Each participant will design a unique brand with an original logo and a clear, creative price list, offering products or services to their peers. The activity promotes financial autonomy and real-world communication by requiring all interactions to be conducted exclusively in English. To reinforce this, any student caught speaking Spanish will have their business temporarily shut down for ten minutes. This immersive experience not only strengthens language fluency but also fosters creativity, leadership, and strategic thinking in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
In this activity, students are invited to dress up as a character from a book, cartoon, or movie—this is completely optional and will not affect any academic grades. The goal is to unleash their creativity and write a fantastic, captivating story that will first compete within their class and then across the entire school.Each story will be evaluated based on spelling, handwriting, and punctuation. The winning author will receive a surprise reward for their outstanding storytelling and attention to detail! Let your imagination run wild, bring your characters to life, and craft a tale that could rival the best in the school. We can't wait to read what you create!
This project is specially designed for children and teenagers who stand out for their vocal talent and passion for music. The selected participants will have the opportunity to perform their favorite song in front of the entire school community, showcasing not only their voice but also their personality and artistic expression. The goal is to celebrate their unique gift and encourage confidence through performance.
A panel of judges will evaluate each presentation based on several key aspects: the beauty and quality of the participant’s voice, their pronunciation and fluency in English, their ability to memorize and interpret the lyrics, and their stage presence—including movement, energy, and style. Remaining static on stage for too long is discouraged, as the performance should reflect dynamism and creativity.
For this activity, the selected students will showcase their advanced English fluency by reading aloud a challenging text filled with uncommon vocabulary and complex pronunciation. Their performance will be evaluated by a panel of judges who will assess the speed, clarity, and fluidity of their delivery, ensuring that every word is pronounced correctly and none are skipped. Additionally, students will be expected to maintain consistent use of the institutional language throughout their presentation. Those who demonstrate exceptional skill and precision will receive a special token of recognition as a reward for their effort and excellence.
