It is about a child who doesn’t pay attention in his
classes at school and gets bad grades. One day, the school called the boy’s
father to inform him that the boy was going to fail the year. The father, tired
of the situation, decided to take him to a boarding school. Taare asked his
father for a second chance, but his father said no. The family said goodbye,
and Taare was left feeling very sad.
On the first day, Taare struggled because he didn’t
even know how to dress himself. A teacher had to help him since it was already
late. Eventually, he made it to his first class, which was history. There,
Taare met a disabled boy, and they became friends. During the lesson, the
teacher asked a student to read a poem from the book, and Taare was supposed to
recite it. However, Taare recited it incorrectly, so the teacher asked another
student to do it, and that student did it well. After the class, Taare and his
new friend moved on to the next lesson.
The next class was geometry. Before entering, Taare
asked his friend why he was at the boarding school. The friend explained that
his father was the manager of the school. During the lesson, Taare was
distracted, staring out the window at a bird’s nest. The teacher noticed and
asked Taare to point out a dot on the board. Taare didn’t respond because he
hadn’t been paying attention. The teacher asked another child to do it, who
easily showed where the dot was. The teacher then called Taare forward and struck
his knuckles five times with a ruler as punishment for not listening.
Afterward, the physical education class began. While
marching, Taare made a mistake, and the teacher pushed him. Later, during
Spanish class, the teacher was explaining nouns, but Taare started seeing the
words backwards. Feeling overwhelmed, he threw his bag into the forest, and
imagined spiders with letters emerging from it.
His parents, noticing his trauma, decided they
couldn’t leave him at the boarding school. When they arrived to see him, Taare
didn’t greet them; instead, he ran to a field and started running in circles,
believing he was escaping them. That night, his parents stayed at the school.
The next day, Taare’s brother gave him a gift: paints. Taare accepted them but
seemed serious.
When his parents left, Taare climbed a fence
overlooking the city. His disabled friend saw him, helped him down, and handed
him his crutches. The boy told Taare about a new teacher. When they entered the
classroom, the teacher wasn’t there yet, but suddenly they heard a flute. The
teacher appeared wearing a funny suit and began singing. After the song, the
teacher changed into normal clothes and handed out sheets of paper for everyone
to paint. Taare didn’t paint at first because he felt he had no imagination
left.
Over time, with the teacher’s help, Taare learned to read and write. Eventually, his parents came back to take him home because he was on vacation.
